Mexican Cornbread Casserole


Ingredients
 
1 lb. lean ground meat Turkey or Beef  
1 pkg. taco mix 
1 can creamed corn 
1 can of corn  
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1 pkg. Jiffy corn muffin mix (follow prep directions on the box)
1 pkg. jalapeno 

Directions 
Brown meat, drain and add taco seasonings.
Separately mix together the corn bread mix and cream corn. 
Grease shallow dish (13 x 9 inches).
 
Spread half the corn bread mix in baking dish, then the meat, then the corn, add cheese

Top with the rest of the corn bread mix and add more cheese on top

Bake at 450 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

Be creative with your recipe  by adding  California Anaheim peppers , cilantro, spinach, black olives, yellow bell peppers  .... have fun and make it your own
