A very simple recipe that tastes divine
The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo dish is very simple to prepare and for simple preparation go to your nearest Ralphs, Vons, Gelson's or Trader Joes grocery store and pick up a jar of Ragu® Classic Alfredo Sauce and be creative with your ingredients by adding artichoke hearts and pine nuts.
Ingredients of the Recipe:
1 package of fettuccine pasta, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 pound chicken breast (cooked) or shrimp , 4 cloves garlic minced, 1 cup half-and-half, 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley and salt to taste.
Method of Preparation:
Boil lightly salted water in a pot. Add pasta to the water and cook for 10 minutes. Add garlic and shrimp to the butter and saute for a minute. Pour in half and half and stir. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and stir again. After adding all the Parmesan, add parsley and salt. Keep stirring and make sure that it does not boil. The sauce will take some time to get thick. When the sauce thickens mix with cooked pasta noodles and serve hot.
