Los Angeles Gorgeous Rows of Whole Fruit

The perfect spring and summertime breakfast or lunch

A young lady cuts pieces of fresh pineapple, mango, watermelon, jicama, cucumber, coconut and cantaloupe, doused with chile, salt and a generous squeeze of fresh lime.  It's these last touches, plus the unexpected crunch of the jicama and cucumber, that transform this from a plain fruit salad into something miraculous.  The price is excellent, a small bag of fruit cost $4 and the large is $5.

The fruit cart hot spots are located all around town. My favorite spots are located at  Wilshire and Curson, 18^th and La Cienega, La Cienega and Cadillac (located in front of Shoe Warehouse) and Arlington Blvd. near the 1o freeway on ramps… If you know of any other hot spots please post them here at All thingz Good.
