I discovered this great chair at a yard sale a year ago and this winter it took a serious beating along with my cash flow. I decided to restore instead of buying a new chair. Restoring this old weathered wicker chair was fun and simple. I first started out by hand sanding the old paint off, once that was completed I then water hosed the chair down, clearing off the old paint residue. I let the chair air dry over night because water tends to soften the wicker. The next day the chair was ready for a good dressing of Gloss color Kona Brown by Rust-Oleum Painters Touch.

Chey I like that idea, you are making me want to restore somethings around the house! I love the "new" chair and the tummy still looks good.
